Introduction
The Gold EDS package offers a more comprehensive service for businesses from all sectors. We get a lot more involved in driving your marketing agenda and as such it includes a degree of marketing consultation. The Silver Brand package is suitable for businesses who require a strong professional web presence and have a fairly straight-forward message to convey. Our Gold clients however require more direction and input from the whole team; in effect time. We also provide a lot more flexibility with web site and print design as our Gold clients generally require a bespoke web site solution. For more complex projects requiring a greater degree of research, consultation and proposal, we generally refer our clients to our EDS Corporate initiative. This is suitable for larger companies with more demanding briefs and requirements beyond the reach of the Gold package.

Framework
Stage One: Contact, Contract and Order
One of the team will generally take the lead and either by phone or in person take you through the options and finalise the details of your package.
The whole team will then get involved and we will agree a date for the preliminary consultation. During this meeting we want to explore your marketing objectives and understand your business and your competitors. We will take you through sample sites pertinent to your industry and attempt to establish a visual direction. By the conclusion of this meeting the aim is to agree a clear plan of action and clarify the requirements from both yourself, the client (artwork and copy etc) and a schedule of works from the team.
One of us will follow up this meeting with a summary in writing. Once the details have been finalised and agreed we will invoice for 50% of the total fee and set a date for the initial photo shoot.
Items to be agreed prior to commencement will be:
- URL and hosting; whether existing requiring transfer, or to be purchased afresh.
- Logos, colours and typeface; whether existing or to be created afresh.
- Print requirements.
- Number/Map of web site pages and level of content management.
Stage Two: Information For Inclusion
It is critical that we receive this information in reasonable time and in an appropriate format. Images and logos must be in a high resolution suitable for both print and web. Text must be in a word or similar document which we can copy and paste from.
We will also require:
- Details of URL and/ or current web site host if appropriate.
- Company logo if existent.
- Company colours (pantone numbers) if appropriate.
- Company tag line, or motto.
- Precise information for contact page.
- Title for each web page.
- Copy (body text) for each page of web site, proofed and spell-checked.
- Detail, copy and images etc. for selected printed material.

Stage Three: Images, Consultation and Selection
Margaret will meet with you on site for a chat to review and confirm the above. At that time she will complete the photo shoot and would expect to be with you for around four hours. Rooms or premises should be prepped for the shoot and employees advised if they are to have individual or group shots taken or might appear in ambient shots. It's helpful if uniforms are presentable and consistent. Office desks should be relatively tidy and free of personal clutter.
The photo shoot will be edited and depending on the nature of the shoot or volume of images, we may ask the client to make the image selection. A disc will be supplied along with a spreadsheet and the client will indicate preferred images; however we do need some flexibility on this in the spirit of good design and layout
Stage Four: Web Build, Print and Completion
The image selection along with the information supplied by the client for inclusion will be pulled together to create the web site and flyers or postcards. We offer a greater degree of flexibility on design and layout to our Gold clients and expect a level of consultation and review throughout the design process. Once the client agrees the site with David it will go live for final testing. The printed material will go to print once the proofs are agreed with Evan and delivered promptly thereafter. We will invoice the balance upon completion.
