How and why do you do it so cheap? Well first of all, these are highly competitive times. We thought long and hard about how to create a simple yet quality transferable start-up model. As colleagues with tried and tested working relationships we realised we could be very efficient yet not compromise on quality design and service. We all have our own well established and successful businesses. The EDS start-up products allow us to expand our portfolios and networks, with the potential of establishing valuable client relationships for the long term.
The packages don't quite fit my requirements, are they flexible? They certainly are. In our experience a client may occasionally require extra services from one of us - or not require us at all. Get in touch and we can have a chat about your exact marketing needs.
What do you require from me? If you have a company logo designed previously, we need a high resolution file of that. If you have specific company colours or fonts, we need to know what these are. We will require a site flow or layout - that is the number of pages and titles of these pages - on your web site. We need your tag-line or company mission statement if you have one. And before we start build or print layout, we will need your copy, that is the text of what you want to say. This needs to be in a word document or text file. If you aren't great at writing, why not ask a friend or relation who is good with words to help you with that. Good copy is as critical as strong images. Making it relevant and keyword rich is also cat-nip to Google!
We have our own snaps, do we really need professional photography? Yes you do. Amateur photography looks simply awful on a web site., and poor images will immediately render your site amateurish. It's one of the most prolific crimes on Northern Irish web sites. Great photography on the other hand, will set your site head and shoulders above the competition. Remember that Seven Second Window? Our brains process visuals much quicker than words. A high impact site with visual immediacy will demand attention.

What is SEO and do we need it? 'Search Engine Optimisation is a critical set of rules and tools which help Google search, index and rank your site. If a web presence is important to you, you need it, in fact it is crucial. As part of our service we can talk you through simple guidelines about relevant key-wording and fresh content to help get you up the rankings. What's the 'back end' of things?! This refers to how your web site. is coded or built, and the machine that hosts and drives it. A solid back end means speedy page loads, a smooth user experience and most importantly, the opportunity for strong Google rankings.
What is the yearly hosting fee, why do I have to pay that? We give you your first year's hosting as an inclusive part of our package. This is worth £120. A web site. has to 'sit' somewhere. It physically occupies space on a server or a massive bank of central computers. Someone owns and pays for these servers and there are cost implications associated with that. No matter who hosts your web site., there will be a yearly fee, consider it rental space in cyber space.
Payment terms? Again, we keep that simple. We invoice for a 50% deposit once the terms and agenda have been agreed, payable as work commences. We invoice the remainder 50% on completion. There will be no hidden extras or surprises. The total fee and list of services are mutually agreed in advance.
I'm really not interested in this trendy design-speak? Northern Ireland regrettably has lagged behind the rest of the UK in web site. design and function.
